Description
A 40th Birthday Tote Bag That Calls Her a Work of Art
Youth is the Gift of Nature, But Being 40 is a Work of Art. It is the nicest thing anyone will say to her all year, printed in an ornate round badge on a roomy 100% cotton tote. The big four-oh sits right in the middle, so there is no birth year to get wrong.
Turning 40 this year makes her class of 1986, the year Top Gun hit cinemas and Halley's Comet came back round. Four decades on, she is still the bigger star.
Why This Tote Works as a 40th Birthday Gift for Her
The Compliment Is the Design
Flattering rather than teasing, so it suits wives, partners, sisters and friends who would rather be celebrated than ribbed. No over-the-hill jokes, just her age and a line she will be happy to carry around.
The Gift Bag That Outlives the Party
Pop the rest of her presents inside and the wrapping is done. After the party it keeps working as her everyday carry-all, so the gift gets used long after the cake has gone.
Her Colour, Her Bag
Choose between 16 colours, pastel pink and lavender through to petrol and black, so you can match her style rather than guess it.

T-shirts and hoodies are a regular fit and true to size, so go up a size if you prefer a looser fit (our Size Guide has chest and length measurements). Tote bags and bar mats are one size, with the measurements listed on each product.
The year on the design is the year they were born. For birthdays in 2026, that is 1996 for a 30th, 1986 for a 40th, 1976 for a 50th, 1966 for a 60th and 1956 for a 70th. Some designs, like Hitting 50 is Essential and Being 50 is a Work of Art, show the age instead, so just pick the birthday.
