Refund policy

This policy explains how returns and refunds work for orders placed with Dead Set Studio on deadsetstudio.co.uk. It is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, which are not affected.

30-day returns

If you change your mind, you can return unworn, unwashed items within 30 days of the date your order was delivered for a refund of the item price.

  • Items must be returned in the condition you received them. You may handle and try on an item as you would in a shop.
  • If an item is returned worn, washed or damaged, we may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling it more than was necessary to check it.
  • For change-of-mind returns, you pay the cost of sending the item back. We recommend a service that gives you proof of postage, as the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.

How to start a return

  1. Email sales@deadsetstudio.co.uk with your order number and the items you want to return.
  2. We will reply with the returns address and any instructions.
  3. Send the items back promptly, and no later than 14 days after telling us you want to return them.

Refunds

We refund the item price to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your return. Delivery on UK orders is free, so there is no delivery charge to refund. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra working days to show the refund.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or is not what you ordered, email sales@deadsetstudio.co.uk with your order number and a photo. We will offer a replacement or a full refund, and we will cover all postage costs, including the cost of returning the item to us.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you are entitled to a remedy. This includes the right to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and the right to a repair or replacement after that.

Your statutory right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason. Our 30-day returns window goes further than this.

To cancel, email sales@deadsetstudio.co.uk with a clear statement of your decision and your order number. You must send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or within 14 days of you providing evidence that you have sent them back, if that is earlier.

Changing size or colour

The quickest way to swap a size or colour is to return the original item for a refund under this policy and place a new order for the one you need. Our Size Guide will help you get it right first time.

Cancellation form

You do not have to use this form. An email to sales@deadsetstudio.co.uk saying you want to cancel is enough. If you prefer, copy this text into an email or letter:
