1. About us

These terms apply to orders placed on deadsetstudio.co.uk (the "website"). The website is operated by Dead Set Studio Ltd, trading as Dead Set Studio ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12240275, with its registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom. 2. These terms

Please read these terms before you place an order. By placing an order you agree to them. They should be read together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Our products

  • Product images are for illustration. We do our best to show colours accurately, but the colour you see depends on your screen, so the product may look slightly different in person.
  • Garment measurements in our Size Guide are approximate and may vary slightly.
  • Our designs are ready-made with the birth year or slogan already printed. We do not currently offer personalisation.
  • Our products are sold for domestic and private use.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Delivery is free on all UK orders. The total price is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is taken at checkout through our secure checkout provider, using the payment methods shown there.
  • If we discover that a price shown on the website was clearly wrong, we will contact you before dispatching your order. You can then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Your order and our contract with you

After you place an order, you will receive an email confirming we have received it. Our acceptance of your order, and the contract between you and us, takes effect when we dispatch the goods to you.

We may be unable to accept an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if the delivery address is outside the UK, or if there was a clear error in the price or description. If that happens, we will let you know and refund any payment in full.

6. Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). Delivery times after dispatch are estimates. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

The goods are our responsibility until they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own the goods once we have received payment in full.

7. Returns and your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. In addition, we offer 30-day returns on unworn, unwashed items. For change-of-mind returns you pay the cost of returning the goods. We refund the item price within 14 days of receiving your return. We may reduce a refund if goods are returned worn, washed or damaged. Full details, including how to start a return, are in our Refund Policy.

8. Faulty or incorrect goods

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something arrives faulty, damaged or is not what you ordered, email sales@deadsetstudio.co.uk with your order number and a photo. We will offer a replacement or a full refund and cover all postage costs. For more information on your legal rights, visit Citizens Advice.

9. Our responsibility for loss or damage

  • If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.
  • Because our products are for domestic and private use, we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

10. Our designs and content

All designs, artwork, slogans, text, photographs and logos on the website and on our products belong to Dead Set Studio or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or otherwise use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Using our website

  • You must use the website lawfully. You must not misuse it, introduce viruses or other harmful material, or try to gain unauthorised access to it or to any system connected to it.
  • We work to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but we may make changes at any time and some information may occasionally be out of date.
  • Where the website links to other sites, those links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the content of those sites and are not responsible for them.

12. Your personal information

We only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect. If there is a risk of substantial delay, you may cancel your order and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.

15. Other important terms

  • If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest will continue in force.
  • If we do not insist immediately that you do something you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay taking steps against you, that does not mean we have waived our rights.
  • This contract is between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce its terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
